Large Softwood Dumpy Bag

A large vented dumpy bag of softwood logs. The bags are roughly twice the size of a builders dumpy bag. 

The majority of our softwood timber is grown on our Estate here at Meldon or sourced locally from Northumberland and the Borders.  It is stored in the round on our timber yard for a minimum of 12 months, then cut into logs which are air dried to moisture levels of below 20%, in line with ready to burn standards.

Our vented dumpy bags are delivered for free within 15 miles of our timber yard. They are the ideal product for individuals who require logs that are dry and ready to burn.

Predominantly our softwood consists of Sitka Spruce, Norway Spruce, Larch and occasionally Scots Pine, which is seasonally dried, and logs are cut to between 9 to 11 inches or 230 to 260 mm.
